![]() Note: Zombies have been placed in the Normal List until information regarding their uniqueness comes to light. They can be somewhat challenging to defeat with basic weapons, and can pose a challenge to new players especially in packs or in close quarters inside buildings. ![]() I'm also dug into the ground since the only other way to get zombie inside would be a huge ramp along the outside.Normal zombies are the ones a player usually faces when exploring the world. And I'm also doing this alone.though technically hosting MP. ![]() The top edge isn't perfectly even all around (some spots are a little higher or lower by a couple of blocks). It took several seconds for the zeds to decide where they wanted to jump/fall down from, but they're acting normal otherwise. I'm just standing on a 4block-high steel pillar in the middle and they all fall in and run toward me to start beating on the pillar. The base is just a smooth steel floor and four steel walls dug into the ground so spawning zombies fall into it (they don't spawn on the player-made floor). I'm at GameStage 387 with the hordenight spawn set to 32zeds. Then I expanded to 55圆0 at I think 50high, but manual spawns from the F6 menu didn't have problems so I set horde-night to every night and jumped ahead to night. I first tried with a 40x45ish base using 25high walls, but it didn't glitch when spawning in manually. (not right away sometimes it can take a few minutes or more mobs but yea). Spawn in 5-10-20 mobs and watch them all freeze. Make big steel walls around your base like 50 blocks tall (and also have steel floor). So it has something to do with the mobs pathfinding at being trapped inside a base with no way out. So if you spawn tons of zombies outside your base they wont bug out however if you have walls around your base (with no doorway) and you have the mobs spawn in or fall into your base after xx many mobs they all freeze and become unable to move and the entire mobs across the entire server are frozen. Once the walls are deleted the zombies can spawn and attack the base (wave after wave) with no issue. I'd love to help Cheryl out, but without any real details to go on, it's impossible.įrom what I see the bug only happens if your base is surrounded by very big strong walls (steel etc) the mobs seem to bug out when they are inside a base surrounded by walls and they have no escape to the outside. Originally posted by SylenThunder:I've seen it a bunch, but every time I've seen it, it's been directly attributed to either mods, sub-par hardware, or exceeding known stable settings. You haven't proven any point at all, and you still haven't provided any valuable documentation. It's highly likely they set the values outside of documented safe numbers, or were using mods that cause other issues. Even newly spawned ones from "se" have the same problem. Its not debug mode its just during hordes or randomly the Zeds will freeze in place and swing their arms at you but cannot walk. It's exasperated even more when you're using mods.īut since OP didn't bother to give any details on their issue, it's not like anyone can help them.
